About the Artist Clint Cassell has been drawing and creating his entire life.  Throughout high school and his further education Clint specialised in design and visual art.  Since then, Clint has and continues to develop his artistic skills through constantly doing what he loves.  His talents and past credits have included comic strips and a self- published comic book, computer animation for short films as well as his own projects, sculpture, a board game, and of course his artwork. Clint is a very spiritual person, which is reflected in his images. They are uncontrived and come to him as he draws.  The basis of his artwork is through intuition. Clint's other passions include illustration, animation and game design, which he utilises, working as a freelance artist.

Through his artwork, Clint desires to create something that everyone, whoever they may be, can experience. The purpose of his work is to reflect and remind us about a deeper sense of life- And indeed, many of his pictures are a story- if not a world- unto themselves. And it is what each indivual sees in the work, their own story, if you will, that makes it valuable. It is Clint's express hope his artwork can help us to look within ourselves and the world around us, perhaps a little deeper than we did before.

Through colour and imagery, Clint is able to channel things about a person into his artwork. The results are always rewarding as Clint approaches his artwork in a completely uncontrived manner, and has found that if he focuses his attention on a person, things about that person will come into his artwork. Things such as spirit guides, things relating to an individuals life path, personal reflections and sometimes direct messages, all relevant to the indiviual in some way, will become the subject.

It helps for the individual to be as open as possible- The artwork is uncontrived, working through a very organic process using feeling and 'tining it' rather than thinking, or attempting to structure the work in some way. Through his artwork, Clint can help to connect you with your inner self and where you presently find yourself, as you progress through life's stages.
